Unsaturated Polyester Resins

Unsaturated polyester resins are produced by the polycondensation of saturated and unsaturated dicarboxylic acids with glycols. UPRs form highly durable structures and coatings when they are cross-linked with a vinylic reactive monomer, most commonly styrene.
